Short Bio
Dr. Badri Adhikari is an Associate Professor at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL). He specializes in artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, and educational technology research. His work focuses on developing AI models and algorithms to solve problems across various disciplines. Dr. Adhikari’s research is funded by NVIDIA, Google, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and the U.S. National Science Foundation. His research findings are published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals including Scientific Reports, PLOS ONE, IEEE Frontiers in Education, and Education Sciences focusing on topics such as visualizing students’ writing process and integrating AI into education with safeguards. At UMSL, he teaches courses on Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Interpretable Machine Learning to undergraduate and graduate students.
